room last night

my little setup at room art gallery last night - it's a really cool space in san rafael run by two really lovely women, agne and danielle.

market tomorrow + bad attitude

if you come visit me at the san rafael art walk tomorrow evening you will be my hero. i'm gonna be peddling alone (which i'm terrible at) wearing red (required, which is never the way to wear red) and celebrating valentine's day (eek.)

additionally, and adding yet another boost of confidence, i was just interrogated by my four year-old niece as to why i'm not married and why i'm not a mama. she gave suggestions.

smells like the ocean

i used irish moss for the first time this week - it's basically raw vegan magic. nothin like it. it lightens heavy recipes and acts as a delightfully natural binding agent. i'm smitten.

it smells a lot like the ocean floor, not at all like something you'd think you'd want to eat.
you also need to rinse it a lot to get all of the rocks and sand out, but it is ohhh so worth it. the texture is BOMB.
